BRIEF: BOILER LIFECYCLE UPGRADE
DURATION: 5 MONTHS APPROX. VALUE: £200K – £300K
SCOPE OF WORKS: After many years of boiler maintenance and repairs at this site, PES operatives where asked to assist with a lifecycle project that involved removal of the existing singular combustion boiler and the installation of a new modular system to provide an increased energy efficiency as well as redundancy in case of faults.
The new primary circuit was to include primary circulation pump and an air dirt separator. The secondary circuit was to include side stream filtration units as well as the installation of a Hevasure corrosion monitoring system with a web-based dashboard.
We where also asked to replace the existing horizontal flue section as well as lining the vertical sections to suit the new boilers.
